Congratulations to Ron Porter, the 2008 King of the Woods Triathlon Champion! (Pictured from left to right) Kevin Beasley, Keith Beasley, Ron Porter and Paul Beasley Ron is the winner of: - a brand new, Arctic Cat 700 EFI 4x4 Automatic ATV - a custom Portrait by Big Buck Portraits Ron's situation is very unique in that he entered two bucks into the 2008 contest but neither one qualified him as the weekly winner for his respective weeks. Ron had no chance at competing for the Arctic Cat ATV unless his name was drawn as the wildcard winner. The Wildcard Winner was drawn at Bass Pro Shops during the Spring Classic and Alf Mayer from Thunder Bay was the lucky winner. Unfortunately for Alf, work commitments made it impossible for him to attend the triathlon so another name had to be drawn. Alf's misfortune was Ron's delight as Ron was named the new Wildard Winner.
