This is a buck that we nicknamed "The Wanderer" because he travelled so much. We have all kinds of pictures and video of him from last
season and were really hoping to get a crack at him this season but the only decent chance we had was an evening hunt where Paul had him come in to 35 yards but
it was bow season and the Wanderer was chasing a doe around and wouldn't stop for a shot. Then, in the December muzzleloader season our neighbours shot him about
mile away. They too had been getting pictures of him a lot and we talked many times over the season about who would get him first. Sam McCullum was the lucky hunter to
hang his tag on him and you can see his harvest photo at the bottom right. You can see what the Wanderer looked like
last year by CLICKING HERE. As you will see, he put on a lot of inches in just one year. Another interesting
feature is his double throat patch. This is pretty rare on whitetails and will make for a very special mount.
